The L293D chip consists of high current half-H drivers that can control wide selection of inductive loads, such as relays, DC motors, and solenoids. It uses PWM signal coming from Arduino to control the speed and direction of a DC motor.
It is operated in the range between 4.7-36V, and can withstand 600mA of bidirectional current for all the channels.
